At the UCLA School of Law, I worked as an assistant to their Career Services department.
The Career Services department assists students in the career development process. Many of the counselors remain active in the legal community to build relationships with alumni and employers.
I assisted with preparation for OCS’ yearly reporting to ABA and NALP. I coordinated administration of the employment survey for graduating seniors and acted as the primary contact to encourage those who don’t have jobs secured to meet with career counselors.
I coordinated schedules and ran basic day-to-day office activity for six career counselors. I set up and executed networking events for current students. I conducted research to develop employer database and highlight open positions for graduating seniors.
